As you may know, we like beer! What do we do? Enjoy going to breweries like two beers brewing, one of my favorite breweries here in Seattle!


When you have a chance, go down there and check it out - you can also bring food to eat or order take out!

BVM vs the Car Seats @Westside Baby

Hope everyone is enjoying the Spring weather! Beer View Mirrors certainly has been! :)

For the 2nd project this Spring, BVM was helping out Westside Baby, an organization who's mission is to provide essential items to local children in need by collecting and distributing clothing, toys and other baby equipment. They are a nonprofit organization that distributes items FREE of charge to South King County families. It's a great organization and amazing that they are able to collect much needed items - if you didn't know baby items are very expensive and it is a lot harder for someone who does not have the means to acquire these items on their own. 

One item that is in high demand are car seats! Hundreds of car seats are donated to Westside Baby, but only 1 in 6 are reusable because most of the time, the car seats are past their expiration date. Yep, car seats do expire! The car seats that are expired can be recycled, only after they have been dismantled. Which is why we came to Westside Baby, hard at work in the RAIN! :)
